Theme AI should understand the theme before writing to it.
Use connected context, file-level diffs, QA and staging instead of isolated code generation.
AI-assisted theme changes grounded in the actual connected Shopify theme and reviewed on staging.
Theme-aware ai should be defined by responsibility, not by model branding.
In TaskerArmy, the category works against the actual Liquid, JSON, CSS, JavaScript and locale architecture. The workflow—not a confident chat response—is the unit the merchant reviews.
Connected Shopify context changes the quality of the plan.
The system maintains coherent change sets, staging, checks and storefront preview instead of requiring the merchant to reconstruct that context in every prompt.
Code generation is only one stage of completed engineering.
The product must place changes in the correct files, preserve theme conventions, expose assumptions and keep the scope reversible.
Plans, diffs, automated checks and previews make the output inspectable.
Deterministic results are separated from AI review so the merchant can understand what is verified and what still requires judgment.
Merchant approval remains compatible with meaningful autonomy.
TaskerArmy can complete substantial work while leaving the consequential production decision to an authorized user.
The system must acknowledge undocumented dependencies and architecture-heavy custom systems.
Unsupported work is clarified, refused or escalated instead of being squeezed into an autonomous task that cannot be defended.

Direct answers before installation
Does TaskerArmy edit the live theme automatically?
No. Theme changes are prepared and reviewed on staging. Production remains an explicit merchant-controlled decision.
Does TaskerArmy access customer or order data?
The product is designed around theme engineering. Current permissions should be verified against the live Shopify app configuration, and unnecessary customer or order scopes should not be requested.
What happens when the work is too complex?
TaskerArmy should refuse, pause or escalate work that cannot be completed safely as a bounded job. Complex architecture and consulting can be routed to Shugert or the merchant’s existing team.
Connect the store. Start with evidence.
Run the connected-store audit, review prioritized findings and decide which bounded engineering job should move to staging first.
